Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Nazrul Islam BSP, nswc, afwc, psc, GD(P), (Retd)

Chairman, AMCL

Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Nazrul Islam BSP, nswc, afwc, psc, GD(P), (Retd) is a Fighter Pilot by profession and former Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Aviation and Aerospace University and Commander of two Air Force Operational Bases. He was also Commandant of Bangladesh Air Force Academy, Commander of BAF Peacekeeping Aviation Contingent in DR Congo and Instructor in NDC and Staff College – two most prestigious institutions of Bangladesh Armed Forces. He also served as Director General at the Prime Minister’s Office (Armed Forces Division), where he was heavily engaged in coordinating diverse defense related issues with allied countries. He is a graduate of Pilot Instructor’s School of the United States Air Force and Air Force Command College, China. The Air Officer has solid academic credentials which include four master degrees with first-class marks from home and abroad including Pakistan and India. He has also attended a number of aviation related courses from home and abroad. As the Director of Plans at Air Headquarters, he was directly engaged in procurement of military hardware (aircraft, radars, missiles etc), systems and services for Bangladesh Air Force while negotiating with the different agencies including the United Nations and defense equipment suppliers around the world. The officer retired from the service on 02 Nov 2023. Since January 1, 2024, he has been working as the Managing Director of BDCOM Online Ltd (PLC), a leading IT company of Bangladesh. His strategic vision and ability to lead cross-functional teams have positioned the company as a prominent player in the ICT industry and also the Chairman of AMCL Tours and Travels a sister concern of AMCL.

Brig Gen Md Shameem Ahsan Jaglul, SPP, psc (Retd). He graduated in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and in Bachelor of Science from Chittagong University. He did Masters in Defense Studies from National University and Masters in Business Administration from American International University, Bangladesh. He is also qualified in Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) from the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB). He is now doing Ph.D. from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and an Ex-Notredemian. He did many courses in home and abroad. Worth mentioning, he did course on Planning and Management of Topographic Digital Map Data and its Utilization in Tokyo, Japan under JICA and He was also the Project Director of Improvement of Digital Mapping System (IDMS Project-under JICA Fund) of Survey of Bangladesh during 2010-11. He was also successfully completed “Allocation of Stability, Security, Transition and Reconstruction” Course in Marshall Centre, Munich, Germany. He has over 37 years of professional experience in the field of Command & Leadership, Field Engineering, financial & technical Management, and Administration including HR etc and retired on July, 2019. He held many important positions in Bangladesh Army, Civil Administration and in corporate world. Currently he is also performing the duties as an Advisor of Meet, Greet & Assist Services at Terminal 1 & 2, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA), Dhaka for last three years (Attached Documents) and also the Managing Director of AMCL Tours and Travels – a sister concern of AMCL. He is also the Chairman of TILLER (Planning & Digital Company at Dhaka since December 2024.He obtained many trainings at home and abroad and received many gallantry awards in home and abroad. The President of People’s Republic of Bangladesh awarded him Sena Parodoshshika Padak (SPP) medal for outstanding performance of reconstructing 54 km roads in UN assignment in Sierra Leone in 2002-2003.

Air Commodore (Retd) MIRZA SARWAR JAHAN, ndc

Director Engineering, AMCL

Air Commodore (Retd) MIRZA SARWAR JAHAN, ndc, is a professional engineer. After completion of his graduation in mechanical engineering, he joined Bangladesh Air Force and got commissioned in the engineering branch. Since then, he has served as Officer-In-Charge of Flight Line to Chief of Maintenance of an Air Force Base. He served in the Bangladesh Air Force for about 31 years and retired in 2021 as Air Commodore. During his long tenure of service, he served as Chief of Maintenance in three different Air Force Bases. He was also a pioneer member who served as Head of Engineering of Bangladesh Air Force’s first ever air contingent deployed under United Nations Peace Keeping Mission in Kuwait in 1995. Furthermore, he got the opportunity to serve almost two years as Director Engineering of our national flag carrier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines on deputation. He was actively involved with the pertinent activities of national airlines in a highly demanding and challenging environment till mid-2021. During his tenure in Biman Bangladesh Airlines, he put due emphasis on capacity enhancement, establishing more accountability and transparency in the system, operating cost reduction and revenue generation. After retirement, he served in one of the leading Bangladeshi commercial airlines named NOVOAIR Ltd as the Chief of Production Engineering for almost two years. He is blended with experience of both the military and the commercial airlines sector. As an optimistic, diligent and motivated officer, his joining in AMCL aspires positive contribution in the aviation sectors of Bangladesh. He is also the Director Operations of AMCL Tours and Travels a sister concern of AMCL.
